new to the forum and hello

hello to everyone out there, please be kind i'm new to this sort of thing and really interested in learning to use a decent camera instead of one of those point and shoot things i've been using for many a year....

My camera gear is not much at the moment but i should have more gear shortly... (watch this space!)

I have been reading some of the forums and thought it was about time to join in
(great stuff by the way...
