Hey guy im new to all of this and im planning to buy some gear from fitp(graham)

If you were just starting out what would you buy and how many of each?
Ive already had a few good opinions, just wondered if there's anyone else with an opinion?

At min i have 1 430EX :'(

:help:

Start with one light and learn how to use it. Build up from there. Get a shoot through brolly and a reflector. With those you'll have loads of options. Build youself some simple snoots and grid spots and play. If you likey then buy a couple more manual flashes.

That there is sage advice from a proper strobist type geezer. :)

Don't try to run before you can walk. Learn how to use the one flash you have, and go from there, you will know when you are ready for another flash, but you can do a lot with just one light off camera. You will want something to enable you to fire it off camera, you can get an ETTL cord but what I would suggest is getting a radio trigger set and learn how to use the flash on manual. When you get your flash triggers, you might want to invest in more than one receiver (even though you only have one flash) so they are there when you do get your second and maybe third flash.

x1 stand
x1 brolly
x1 reflector
and a trigger system

Believe me it gets addictive before you know it, you'll have four times this amount in no time!
enjoy
