Hello  :welcome:, I have only just started to get into photography and were wondering wether anyone had any tips or things to not do about anything to do with taking and editing my pictures

Hi and welcome, your question is however a little vague.
Just take pictures, lots and lots of pictures. If you encounter a problem or don't understand something, then make a topic about it and you will get lots of help.

Welcome to TP Cheeky.

My tips; Don't ever think to yourself that their is nothing to take pictures of, its not true. Don't rush, make each shot better, study the scene and think settings before every shot you take. Editing needs subtlety of adjustment combined with knowledge of a required 'finish'. A conundrum and a roller coaster ride that's tricky to master, so get on board early.

Untick your editing box fella, you want help right.

You may think in terms of taking 'things' (or 'people') but really what you need to see and to assess is LIGHT. LIGHT is what a camera 'sees', and LIGHT is what makes a PHOTOGRAPH.

The histogram display may be your greatest friend in helping to review what goes on.

Why does Shaylou replying to threads that Ive replied to that are ancient? This is the second Ive seen today.

A Stalker?

...lucky so and so. ;)

I will reiterate what Tom said. Go shot and come back here and ask questions. It's is a great way to get some very good advise. I can honestly say that I learned photography by doing just that.

I blame this pointless resurrection squarely on your shoulders Shayne. ;)
