Hi im from manchester and just started a course on photography. Hoping to take some good shots and share them and also get some good tips. Currently looking to get a good camera (dslr) any advice will be greatly appreciated!!
 
welcome to TP , why not join us on the tp christmas meet . just check it out in the meeting place forum

i personally would go the nikon / canon route due to the range of lens. of the nikon cameras i would say the d90 or d300s or even d700 , but by all means try different brands

iv been told to go for a canon or a nikon but i find it all so confusing!
