New to mounting own photos!

Hi all, right, I'm of a mind to mount some of my own photos once I get a few printed.

Have a logan system 24, basically the 24 inch ruler and logan 2000 cutter also an A2 cutting mat and have bought a few "seconds" mount boards from the local arts and craft centre.

However they were quite busy so never asked about backing boards as I forgot. :shrug:

I do remember seeing some boards there described as "grey boards" and thinking that must be what's meant by backing boards, am I right?

Or do people simply use mounting boards as backing boards?

It's probably a daft question but I'd rather ask than do something wrong

There is no such thing as a daft question Paul.
