Hi i am all new to this a after a long time looking around i went with wordpress cheapest option.

I am looking at getting into protrait and wedding photography and have no idea in price yet hence no pricing but that will come in the next couple of days or so.

Photos in the gallery are for viewing but will change when completly happy with layout.

just getting early throughts.

Looking good.

The "Client Photos" submenu looks a little out of place.
Because the menu items lack a border, they appear centre aligned.
The submenu would fit in better if it were centre aligned also.
Or perhaps drop the submenu altogether, and have "Client Photos" link to a page with the albums listed (like it already does).

Also, found pages can take a while to load.
This might become more apparent as you add more content.
Might need to consider a faster, UK-based webhost?
 
References to using the contact form would be better if 'contact form' was a hyperlink to the form so that clicking on it takes the visitor straight to it rather than leaving them to find it.
I'm not a lover of putting my email address on websites as it invites spam, however if I did I would use the domain as my email address rather than a 'generic' (ntlworld), I just think it looks more professional. Otherwise looks a nice clean site.
 
Very nice clean site and easy to navigate. The wedding page and the written statement is well thought out and immediately puts the prospective customer at ease.
 
Sorry to drag up an old thread, I've just been searching for sites created with Wordpress as I'm considering one myself. A couple of things Dan;

1. I don't know if you intended on removing the email address from the main page or not? But either way, the address is showing but it doesn't link to your email address (or any other page for that matter), it gives a "404 error: Page Not Found"

2. You say you you can't take credit for the writing the wedding spiel as it was given to you by a friend. Make sure you find out its origin - as someone who is trying to breakthrough into the business world, the last thing you want is a letter/invoice from a copyright lawyer!

Nice site though, it gives me something to aspire to.

The text in the portraiture section has several errors. Here is what you've written with my corrections in brackets :thumbs:

My aim as a photographer is to capture emotion, fun and memories that will last forever.

Weather (Whether) that is in the studio at your home or a location of your choice, i will forfil (fulfil) your requirements with a taylor (tailor) made photo shoot. My photography is not rush(ed) as i aim to give a great service and deliver some stunning photos.

Often the idea of a portrait only comes into play at key stages of our lives such as engagements or births but they can be a unique and contemporary way of documenting you and your family’s life.
 
Hmm yeah, I didn't actually read the Portraits page. In addition to the above, you also need a comma after
"Whether that is in the studio".
