This is the bag I got for £140 at the NEC show, room for me to put a 400 2.8 when I can afford one :) amazing quality and a 5 year warranty, it replaces my smaller pelican style case. My only concern is it says it's water resistant but not proof, do any of you guys use a bag like this? If so what do you do? Was thinking about keeping a heavy duty bin bag inside the bag to put over it if it's raining at a game.

EDIT: This bags is a Calumet RC2065 with an RM2214 padded dividers set inside.

Ah, so it does come with the inserts. It's unavailable on the Calumet website still.

Any chance of a couple of shots of the inside of the lid & outside with the pockets open?

Is there anywhere to stow a lappy?

Cheers!

Will do some pics. The front pocket is large so you can fit a laptop, comes with a laptop sleeve also. Lots of dividers I have a carrier bag full of ones I didn't use. Excellent case for the money, I was surprised how big it was.

Thanks! :)

Just had a look at a Youtube clip. It looks as though that one is a different model to the one on the Calumet website.

This is a relativly new model, you can tell it apart from the old one by the sloping front section

Seems a great bag, only downside is it does not have a waterproof cover, a bargain for £140, I have all my camera gear in it.

Would a think tank or Lowepro cover work on it Rikki?, I'm at the show as we speak & am thinking of buying the Think Tank Airport security but Lowepro have a new one coming out too in a couple of weeks?, (they have a demmo here at the show). They both include a rain cover so surely they're available as an extra?. Kind regards Graham.

Yeah the new lowepro was a fantastic bag, I have looked at lowepros site and for replacements they say to speak with a dealer so I may make some calls tomorrow.

I use a thinktank airport security and that is great. i'm sure the thinktank or similar brand cover would fit over the case however and make it more waterproof when needed

Not sure the cost of the covers however

I am going to give calumet a bell to see if they can get the covers separately as I haven't been able to find one to buy online yet.

I am thinking though of buying this from ebay http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Suitcase-...ckets_Accessories_RL&var=&hash=item35ca43e48a

If pop along to an outdoor shop they do rucksack waterproof covers in different sizes for about £7-8. Might be worth a look.

I agree with Graham if Calumet dont have anything, I used to use a rucksack cover on my gear before I got a Peli and had no issues at all. there are various sizes so getting one to fit shouldn't be difficult
