Just read this on the HD warrior web site. If you fly drones it's worth watching as it seems to affect most camera carrying Drones. Here's a link with more details

Good ol' EU

May not even apply to us :)

Providing that it's passed before any Brexit, then May's Great Repeal Act will write this into UK law.

That's assuming that the CAA wants to try to go it alone (or has the ability to) and doesn't decide to just implement EU regulations.

If people are genuinely worried about it why don't you write a reply to the prototype regulations. Its only a consultation at the minute and well written (not cut and paste) replies do have an impact. The email address to reply is UASPrototypeRule@easa.europa.eu

Glad I seen this, will need to watch it and read the document before my drone purchase

Looking at the mavic pro

I would like a drone but having flown radio control helicopters and jets in the past I'm fully aware of safe flying etc.
There are some wonderful places that I'd like to fly a drone like over countryside landscapes for example but I think even in areas like this restrictions will be prohibitive.
