This weekend I have begun putting together a blog!

I have wanted to do it for a long time to remind me of my progress and to help me improve my photography.

I have only been photographing 8 months so I have begun looking back at how I learnt the techniques I use today. Thought a few of you on here might be kind enough to have a look at it, give me some ideas on how to progress the blog.

One idea to put up for me would be movement/shutter speed water or something else?

Panning

Zoom and angle of view?

I'd tend to make both the Text and photographs larger, it does however depend on what audience you're targeting?

Thank you for looking Peter.

Will take you advice on board and add those.

Really appreciate your opinion

"This is where a camera with Basic Zone Modes des on handy."
Does come in or comes in?

Did you choose the width or is that the template used doing so?
500 pixels wide isn't great, since it involves a lot more scrolling to see images and read the text.
I'd have also gone with larger image thumbnails.

Apart from that, it's looking half decent, and no doubt as time goes on, you'll evolve it, perhaps influenced by other blogs you visit.
Stick with it, if nothing else, it'll be a nice reminder of the journey you've made.

I didn't click on any of the images, but if not already done, you should create a transparent layer in your main PP package, and add it to your full size ones.
That's presuming the application doesn't have a Watermark feature in-built, or option to purchase such a plug-in.

Thank You for proof reading it for me ;) Will change that now!

It is a template I'm using so I'm capped on what I can do, but will look and see if there are any other templates that help.
