A family member has just received an email purporting to be from Paypal advising them that a payment they'd just sent had been declined and to log into their account (via the email :nono
and amend their bank account details.
Now I know this is pretty standard stuff, however, this email was addressed correctly for the account holder "Dear Mr....." instead of the usual "Dear Paypal member" and the sending email address ended .info.paypal.co.uk which looks fine, but a genuine Paypal email will be from of paypal.co.uk , a subtle enough difference to catch the unwary out, so be careful folks

These bogas sites are very convincing.Never did track how my card details were cloned, and if connected with email hack[coming through open and tried to sort with apple many times] and never will find out,but to these scum bags its a full time job and clever with it.In short never respond to anything that asks for details of bank, card ect.Which i didnt and still got done.Widespread easy money, latest is not to go for big hit, just lots of small amounts from many accounts so goes unnoticed.
