Having just ventured into the Panasonic range, I noticed their new launch with interest. Very little interest in the products - but I am interested in the amount of grammatical errors and phraseology on this site! A quick peruse leaves the ending statement with the new GX as a "challenging". And similar with the FZ80. Anyone else as "sad" as me and fancies seeing how many errors they can see? So far, I'm on 3...! It's a shame really, as the whole lanicj appears to be written by somebody who doesn't really understand the products.. and is just blurring out long and marketing derived features in a long list!

It is a bit baffling that a company the size of Panasonic don't seem to employ a proof reader but I'm afraid that being a bit baffled at cockups, mistakes and seeming incompetence is par for the course these days.

Yes, that's my line of thought - a small few million turn over company, yes that is understandable. But a massive worldwide corporation for some key products.. it still baffles me!
 
My English, spelling ect are crap but i cringe at the TV adverts,BBC news and other stuff, mind you i dont write stuff for Panasonic.

Even though my grasp of English is pretty basic I get by and I used to do some rewriting/polishing of semi technical presentation stuff for a rather large and indeed multinational Japanese company. Some of the stuff had already been through a professional translation company but you'd never have guessed and this stuff was in use and indeed going out to customers. I kept in mind that their English was better than my non existent Japanese but that has to be balanced against their healthier bank balance. Actually healthier bank balance is a bit wrong considering the debt some of these companies have :D but at last they do have access to money.

Interesting comments! Indeed, beggars belief! I would say we take greater care at our company which is far far smaller.
