New Old Film Challenge #262 'In Memorium'

Probably been done before in some form, but I am keeping the subject broad to encourage more entries. Basically the subject can be anything that commemorates the life of somebody or some thing

As usual the following rules apply:
1) Must be taken by you
2) Must have been taken on film, notwithstanding which, digital post processing is allowed
3) Must have been taken and developed prior to the start date of this challenge

Discussion in the Discussion thread (link below) rather than this Entries thread, please.

Please include details of the camera, lens, film etc and anything else of relevance, if you can possibly the details remember that far back. Perhaps you could also explain you reasons for the choice of image, as long as it doesn't contain vacuous statements like these:

"For me, photography means endless inspiration.
I use photography the way a painter might use paint.
Without photography I couldn't make my art..."

I could go on, but please don't allow me.

Entries close some time after midnight Monday 14th July 2025, following which a voting page will be opened with a three day voting window.

Please keep all discussion and comments in the "new old film discussion thread" https://www.talkphotography.co.uk/threads/new-old-film-challenge-discussion-thread.698995/page-24

PLEASE NOTE THAT THE OLD RULE THAT 'THE PICTURE MUST BE SCANNED BEFORE THE DATE OF THE CHALLENGE' HAS BEEN RESCINDED!

The statue replaced the hut where children used to attend sunday school.

Charles Frohman Memorial, Marlow. I came across this in 1967, some time during my 7 week introductory residential course to ICT at Moor Hall, not far away. Yeah, boomer, sorry. I've always been fascinated by the idea of memorialising someone with a naked nymph, but it turns out that Charles Frohman was an impresario, so maybe it's not quite as inappropriate. Also, it's not actually located in a graveyard, where my memory had placed it; also appears to have been cleaned up in recent times. I like that she's a bit dingy!

Taken on FP3 with my Werra 1, exposure guessed and it shows!

Thank you folks.
