OK so I came across this website whilst browsing for a D4 on ebay, not seen it before but the price obviously got my attention.
A Nikon D4 for £1299? Well believing it was too good to be true I emailed their 'Hotline' asking how this was possible.

I did get a reply which said

Thanks for your question.
Yes the product is new , 24 months warranty and a 60 days moneyback certificate.
If you want to buy it in a secure environment you can do it at a reduced price in our online store.
We look forward to new clients and successfully completed transactions.

They go by the name of Limitless-Electronics http://limitless-electronics.co.uk/gb/ and have a listed address which turns out according to google maps to be a high rise flat in Glasgow and the ebay listing which was standing at £22 seems to have vanished now.

Anyway, just a heads up, not sure how many sites like this are about

Only a half-wit would be suckered by that.

Interesting info Keith and that he lives in Buxton but business address is in Glasgow.
The thing is though, what do you do with such info? I haven't lost any money so what can I report?

b****r I ordered 2 do you think I will get them ? :)

LOL £2.22 bid or buy it now on a dodgy email for £1600. I would like to know though what happens to any winning bidder.

Buyer will be found beaten and minus £1600 in a dark carpark.

I'm tempted to email though..Have a play with them

I messaged him asking for more info and now the listings have gone. So chances are its a hacked account

I would keep well away from the site.

He must be a bit thick, as he has not hidden his registration details.

the latest D4 scam has a laptop for sale also, pmsl when i read his last comment

As we are selling this purely to fund a new car we are looking for a quick sale so have the listing up for 10 days. Winning bidder must pay within 24 hours or will be reported to ebay aswel as the police.

so the police are now dealing with eBay non payers are they:bat:

If you google the phone number. He also sell's Iphones.

If anyone belives this is legit, I have some magic beans i'm looking to offload at very reasonable prices....

I may be killed in the rush.........:naughty:

The listing was taken down.

Now its back
He's also selling Canon 5D mk3 to upgrade to a 1DX.

I sent him a message via facebook telling him i'm having trouble buying a D4 off his website and can he investigate. He's read the message but not replied.

Looks like theyve all been taken down now.

Wonder how long before he puts another set on

He's probably been reading this and realised we're watching him.

just stumbled across another scam on eBay

Listed a 24-70mm Nikon lens on a low price, with a £250 starting price, click on the description an instead of taking you to it, it opens up a "eBay Looking" page, that wants you to log in again, but the URL at the top was not ebay.

The listing was going up and ending with zero bid and been relisted by a user called "deadbea" report one of the items to eBay (151232331870) but their reporting process sucks

Just thought I would post to warn others, too cheap and linking to off eBay site:mad:
