Looking to replace my main monitor, a Dell 20" non-wide screen which I'll use in portrait mode as a secondary screen ....
I was looking at either 21.5 or 24 inch versions of the same Dell (S2240L/S2440L) monitor - if they both have the same resolution of 1920 x 1080, I guess that means the smaller monitor will appear sharper (in theory at least) but in practice there won't be much if any difference?
I'm leaning towards the 21.5" model in case I get another in future - two 24 " screens may just be too big for my work area
As to connections, the monitors I'm looking at have VGA & HDMI connection whereas my PC has DVI connections - is it just a matter of getting a DVI to HDMI lead or is there more to it? (I've checked my graphics card supports 1920 x 1080 resolution).
