Hi

New member. Just bought myself a Samsung NX10 as a means to obtaining slightly better results in low light, from previous compact digital cameras. I live in SW London.

Mostly take action shots from Athletics & Road Running events, so keen to learn more about how to get the best results.

I have an issue with my NX10. It has two dark marks ( dont look like finger prints ) on all pictures I take & despite cleaning the lens & UV filter with a lint free cloth, its made no difference.

So I think the problem is on the sensor itself. No idea how the marks could have got there as I use lens covers & a cover for the CCD if the lens is not mounted.

Does anyone know how to clean the sensor ? All sounds a bit worrying to me.

Thanks
Mike

Hi & welcome to TP.
If your camera is new then perhaps it's best checked out under the warranty?

Yes absolutely, I could do that. But before I go taking it back to the shop, I was just hoping for some thoughts for people who might have might have experienced issues with such marks, as I find it hard to believe I am the first to suffer.

Anyone ?

If the lens is clean and you are thinking sensor - get it back to the shop and sharp.
At best it's just a clean - at worse it's damaged. Either way you don't want to be fiddling if it's under warranty:thumbs:
