Hi there. Iv only just recently got into photography. The story goes like this, I go to alot of basketball games and wanted to capture some pictures my old camera was not really cutting it so decided to go for a DSLR. I went for the Pentax K-X being my first DSLR i thought this was my best option for my budget.

I used my K-X for the first time the other day and wow so much better. But i still had a few Blurry Pictures. As basketball can be fairly quick i guessed i needed to increase my shutter speed which helped abit.

This forum looks brilliant and has loads of tips on sport photography so i will keep browsing.

will upload some of my first time shots when i get home from work.

By the way im from Essex. (Saw a previous thread and thought this was the right sort of thing to say.. haha  )

Hi Craig and welcome

Some great info here, just ask or check out the previous Q and A's

The question has invariably been asked before

Hi,
If You record movement a lot, for example basketball matches,
I definitely recomend you to try shoulder supports,
I use one myself, I purchased it a long time ago and really it gives intended results. Since I got it, I have been using it and I have no doubts about it.
It is extremely handy, light weight and made out of a high quality materials.
