Ive just been given an old nikon d70 with a 28-100 lens, and yesterday i managed to pick up a nikon 70-300 for less than fifty quid! Admittedly, its not the vr version, but for a beginner just setting out, its giving me a good starting point.
I dont think fifty quid is anything to worry about, considering the thousands you can put into this hobby
So, what do i like to photograph?
Thats the hard bit when it comes to buying lenses, cus i like every type of photography! Im really interested in night time photography, of old buildings and cities, the sky etc. i also love landscapes, a few portraits and the reason for the 70-300 is because bird photography really interests me.
Any advice and tips would be really appreciated, cheers guys!
Ps- my housemate is thinking about getting an olympus e410, is it any good?
