Im about to change my mattress and was wondering if anyone on here has bought one of those mattress in a box jobbies such as Simba, Nectar, OTTY etc?
If so, any recommendations or feedback would be great.
Most reviews on tinterweb appear to be biased to a particular manufacturer only and reviews on makers facebook sites are useless as they can remove any negative comments so they all appear brilliant.
Particularly interested in comments where youve used the mattress for a year or more.

We bought an Eve mattress a couple of years ago and I find it really uncomfortable - too hard - whereas wife likes it; I think our old-fashioned and 13 year old traditional metal-sprung mattress with memory foam top inch is fantastic, which wife does in fact prefer (thankfully). FWIW

I like our Eve. Had it a couple of years now. If you use fitted sheets, make sure they're deep enough if you go down the topper route.

We had one a few years ago, cant remember which brand but if its memory foam theyre really warm, too warm for us.

Memory foam is far too warm for me as well, I feel like there's no air circulating. But one thing is for sure as far as I'm concerned, when it comes to a mattress it's not only worth spending decent money on one but also being able to test it out properly, which basically means a store and spending a decent amount of time lying in each one.

You spend a 1/3 or your day (if you are lucky) lying on one and so much of your health etc is related to how well you sleep, it's too important to get wrong.

i'm a convert to IKEA Hovag mattresses all there other stuff is complete dog s*** but there mattres are brilliant.

Likewise! Don't be fooled by their relatively cheap prices in comparison to other brands, I've had mine for about 2 years now and it's been nothing short of superb.
