I'll have a look in a min, I've always hated the twitter website and much preferred reading through things with tweetdeck on my phone so hopefully it's an improvement :)
 
Looks the same as it did before ... pointless :D

I cannot see the attraction in reading half a conversation :shrug:

Probably a younger generation thing ... I'll ask the grandson :(
 
Ah they've barely changed a thing: just put the right column on the left and the left column on the right, and changed the images along the top. The way it functions is no different and that was what I disliked :(
 
'tis a good tool for networking but I also have a spoof account for pee taking too.
 
theres a few other changes like mentions and saved searches in the menu bar at the top

It only shows one twits tweet, which is impossible to follow ... unlike a forum :thinking:

Just to expand on that, all I have ever seen is a list of statements from one person, that are written in a language one step above text speak, with no logic or purpose, other than to tell you what they have just done or are about to do :shrug:

Yep, only seeing half the conversation is a bit off IMO.

Also, the hash tagging just seems a little pompous and supercilious at times because people end up tagging words or sentences that you'd never put emphasis on in any other type of conversation or forum. Plus, you have to believe that someone else is tagging their own tweets with the same tag, which is great in the case of well-known or current events (for example #whitneyhouston, #luissuarez...) but I've seen all sorts of random rubbish being tagged that barely make sense and certainly wouldn't be something you'd search for....

Strangely I had assumed that would be the case, and actually attempted the solution, however most times you still only see the one twits tweet.

Like I said pointless ... and frustrating :D

I am however in the fortunate position that I will be able to get through life without having to look at it.

I've got the new look Twitter now. To be honest I don't see that much of a difference. Been using the Twitter for Android app for a couple of weeks and it looks pretty similar to that now.
 
I like it. Although I dont use Twitter *that* much I mostly use the Mac App.
 
I've had that new look Twitter for a few months now, seems to work better in my Chrome browser compared to the old version.
