New lens! What to get?

hello, time to venture out and get myself another lens! i mostly take my photos of cars and car meets shows etc so want an ultra wide lens. I use a NikonD90 and have narrowed it down to either a

1. Sigma 10-20
2. tokina 11-16

anyone with any other ideas feel free to add to my confusion

id prefer to buy it second hand of this forum as its normally very safe and will save me some pennies!

I've had both (assuming you mean the older variable aperture Sigma) and would highly recommend you go for the Tokina. It offers generally better IQ, is distortion free, constant 2.8 aperture and superb build quality. The only reasons to go for the Sigma are cost and if you really need those extra mm's at either end.

Realistically I wont need the extra mm at the end! and i just need to try and find one second hand on here now
