My name is Keith. I have been doing photography for more years than soft nick. As a retirement present to myself I purchased a canon DSLR after using
Fuji dig cameras for three years. I consider myself a novice yet and am still battling the mystries of photoshop. To maintain my interest in photography I am a member of the Manchester Photography Society and the Postal Photographic Club where I am one of the colour print circle secretaries. My experience with cameras was mainly with Olympus OM range until I deciced to go Canon with the EOS 300 and latterly EOS 50E . LIke a lot of photographers I have been bitten with the digital bug which has given me the freedom to create the picture I wanted to take. I like to take interesting subjects , but anything goes if it has the lighting. I love landscapes and in our valley there is an ever changing pallet of colour. If the sun shows as much as a glimmer my camera goes on my back when I go on the dog walk. Yesterday we had a small fall of snow overnight and I took a picture in the snow which was worth enlarging. It what I like doing best.
