new Itouch- Do you thinks its true?????

Hi,

Was lookking at getting a 16GB itouch, but just found out rumours are saying from analysts that there will be a major price drop and introduction of 64GB models and also that the touches will now have GPS.

any idea on this?

Not heard anything about new ipod touches, but Apple are bring out a new Nano, there are pics floating around. Best bet is to wait a couple of weeks till the Apple conference.

September the 9th is being rumoured to be the day of the announcements for the new apple hardware, so if you want an iPod Touch or any new apple hardware it is probably worht waiting until then, even if it means you can get the exisiting model a bit cheaper from somewhere...

I can't see the GPS would be much use without the 3G as you need internet access to see the map. I guess in some places with city-wide wireless it would be useful but not over here in the land of the gas lamp
