I've only ever bought iPod nanos and iTouches, decided on a Samsung phone, but I caved in and bought the New iPad...one word: :D

It's awesome: display is stunning, I downloaded a photography magazine and the photographs are stunning, such detail and colours. The sound isn't bad either.

Very fast and it just feels great.

Battery life seems fine and once again :D

Cheers and I'm watching a B&H tog video as we speak...wife thinks I'm :cuckoo:

For me :gag: is baaaaaaaaaaad hence the confusion, but as an ipad owner I can understand your joy.

I didn't buy into the tablet thing at first, but a couple of months before the ipad 2 was replaced I took the plunge and I've not looked back since. I spend more time on the ipad than I do on my iMac now. And luckily due to a work need, my iPad 2 was replaced with a 3 at no cost to me :D

I adore mine too!!! Plus having the camera/memory card adapters is a god send! I do everything gin my iPad, and only use the computer as a backup point now. Nuts!!
 
I've found it to be great even for editing. I started using photoshop touch but I found it to be very limited. I'm now using Photogene and its brilliant! Though I guess it depends on how much editing you do??
 
i'm not going near the new ipdad - not even looking at one - i love my ipad, really happy with it - but i just know if i even looked at the new one the upgradeitus would start eating at me!
