Hi I'm brand new to this forum and brand new to SLR photography really. At the moment I have a gap camera but will be changing it in the next week or so for a digital SLR. I was looking at the Nikon D7000 or the Canon 60D with their respective kit lenses to get me started 9prices are good at the moment). I originally leant towards the Canon but after holding and playing with the Nikon in Dubai I have grown towards that. Basically I'm asking for some advice on what you guy's feel might be better for me. I travel a lot through work and get to a lot of major cities around the world, so of late my photography has been really, skylines, city life, sunsets, gardens, beaches etc....I really should have taken a closer look at people and plan to do that in future. Anyway I would love to here your views on what you think of those cameras and maybe some starter lenses to fit into the little info I've given you. Thanks in advance.

Thank you Dave

Looking at my post though I need as much help with my spelling as I do my photography...
