Hi All...

I just joined the forum.

I am interested in photography but my skills are very basic at the moment.

I used to have a Sony DSC V1 - an absolutely splendid camera for beginners.

More than a year ago, I decided to get a better camera with a wider range of functions and got a Nikon D80 with a Nikon 18-200 VR lens.
Unfortunately I still do not know my way around the Nikon much am still using this camera in automatic settings.

I am here to learn new things and be better with my Nikon and someday take great pictures.

You'll find lots here to inspire you and plenty of people who are only to willing to answer any questions you might have.

Great choice of camera btw, the D80 was my first DSLR, once you get it off Auto and onto some of the more "advanced" settings you'll see a huge difference, it's a really easy camera to master too :)
 
There's loads of people who are friendly and kind here - loads of good advice and solid support when you need it. Best thing is to get in and read loads of posts and absorb what is said. Do that and you'll progress at a good pace :)
 
Hi, and welcome :)

Don't be scared to experiment with the different settings on your camera - the good thing about digital is that you can delete all the rubbish shots :lol:
