Heyyy I'm Jess and I'm from a little city nestled in the foothills about 20 miles east of Downtown LA, California. But im no city girl, I spend most of my time either in my local canyons or the high desert riding dirt bikes. I shoot a Nikon N65 35mm SLR & a Holga 120MF TLR (which I just purchased and am completely foreign to).

Most of my pictures are of landscapes, my pup Ladybugg (She's a Queensland Heeler as youll come to see with a big personality), & moments worth saving of my boyfriend & our friends.

Im the girl with a million questions and always want to know more & more about everything, so prepare for my millions and bajillions of questions because I am more than EAGER to gain the knowledge you all have and fab share with me ! (:

Thanks everyoneA im actually waiting to get some back right now!! Hiw do I post them up for people to see? Just them attach to a thread post? Since I am new, I have no clue how to navigate or work this site yet!

welcome to TP

with regard to putting images on threads , the best way is to put them on flickr or photobucket etc and link them from there - see the guide here

failing that you can use your gallery space here at TP (the key being to resize them first as the gallery won't accept massive files) , or you can attach them to threads (but again resize them first so that they don't take ages to load

if you get stuck shout for help in the help and support board at the bottom of the main page and someone will help you out
 
Welcome Aboard Jess - don't forget to check out the "Film and Conventional" section - there's some (how can I say this without making them sound like a bunch of fossils ;)) very talented and long-standing film shooters that hang out in there (myself included - apart from the talented bit of course...)

If you do choose to use the TP Gallery, files are best kept to 1024x1024px maximum and iirc the maximum file size is 350kb.

Looking forward to seeing some of your images.

Hi and welcome to the great TP Jess, were a very friendly community and its fantastic to have a member from your part of the world, as most of our community is UK based I always love it when a member from else ware joins as it means seeing some new and often exciting stuff :D I follow a few photographers from your general part of the world and know just how beautiful it can be...

Anyhow I'll stop chatting so much and just say I look forward to seeing you and your world around our wonderful community :)
