New from South Wales

Hi everybody. My name is Kristian and I am new to this site. I have always had a keen interest in photography but its only now I have decided to take it further. I am hoping to attend college starting in October to get me started. I am currently using a Nikon D40 (second hand). Love the camera. Looking to upgrade in the new year. I will be checking in often to check out hints and tips .

You'll find plenty of help and advice in here - search function is always handy but don't be afraid to ask
The D40 is a great little camera to get you started (I had one for my first DSLR). Its capable of good results and is nice and light.
Good luck with the college course too.
