Hi all,

I am spending a weekend in the New Forrest and wondered if any of you know any good spots to take the camera?

I always take it out with me when I am in the Forest, you just never know when you will see something worth togging. There is a deer observation platform on the boldrewood (sp) ornamental drive, where you can get some great deer shots if they are there, it is where they are feed so a good chance of them being there. PM if you want more info on it. where abouts in the forest are you staying?
 
What sort of things do you like taking photos of? The Forest is pretty large and lots to suit all tastes, if you can expand a little more I'll try and help with my limited knowledge
 
I spend everyday in the forest, if you can gives a clue to what you like photographing I will help you if I can. There is alot of places to go from the cliffs of Milford on Sea and the birds of Keyhaven to the donkeys and horses that are always at Hatchet pond

No way, they have lingerie and art nude models there?! And I thought nothing east of Ringwood was worth bothering with :D

Everytime I drive down the A31 with work I think to myself 'I must come back here' but I never do. Even what you can see from the road is lovely, I'd love to take a few days wandering round there.

You just have to know where to look.:lol:

Anyway I have just noticed you have made a typo, you have put east of Ringwood when I know you meant west of. :D

If you ever go to Bashley PM me I am only a couple of miles from their ground.
 
Already been this season mate but I used the video (1st 2nd) because I've not been doing that much photography this year in the poorer light. I took the camera last year mind.

OP, seriously, go to Bashley FC and cheer on the home team cos I want Cambridge to lose, they're above us in the league ;)
