I think this is a very well thought out and designed filter holder, the video is only the demo but you really tell they've thought it trough. But is it over designed?
Going to be pricey I bet.

P.S. I've moved this here, I originally posted in the wrong forum.

Nice piece of engineering but definitely over thought...looks more cumbersome than the Lee type system and more than likely a fair bit more expensive due to the complexity

I picked up on this yesterday from the comments on Facebook for the new Firecrest holder. Clearly alot of thought has gone into the design but I agree it looks cumbersome and will probably be expensive.

No i was changing to a Nikon 14-24 and 24-70 and Lee at the time didnt have a system to allow me to use an ND on my 14-24 although i know they do now have a way of sealing the light from the lens. The Progrey just fitted the bill perfectly and is very well made. I use a mix of Progrey ND filters and Lee ND grad filters and happy with both.

It does look to be a very nice piece of kit.

Now available for pre-order: $399 if you want a polariser. Then extra for additional adapter rings and more filter vaults (which I would want 1 for every filter)... It would cost me $650 !
