New darkroom

Nice setup  A bit lacking in posters though, how about a nice vintage one of Linda Lusardi on the wall by the Devere :naughty:

Hehee...might put up my Mcullin "On safari" calendar from the late 80's

Sweet. You look all set. One thing, maybe, is pin up a black cloth over that white wall behind the enlarger or something to that effect.

Good idea, one of the things I've forgotten to do thanks.

Well done Ed, I'm glad I'm not the only one that gets little pleasure from digital 'photography'. I know lots of people love it, but to me photography is all about the darkroom, the smells, the whole aura. The quality that can be achieved with film is no contest for a pixelated digital print. What bothers me most with digital is we are losing a whole generation of photography. Negatives will easily last 100 years if stored in the right enviroment. Manufacturers claim their digital prints will last 100 years, what then? the image is lost. Will the technology still exist in 100 years to read a cd disk or USB stick? It's like the 'floppy disk', how many computers have the facility to read a floppy disk. Sorry to go on about a much discussed subject ;)

Well put, as an ex press photographer what also is happening is that we are deleting all the negs that didn't make the final edit, possibly throwing away valuable pictures for the future.
Commercially digital is fine, but for personal work, it's great fun :)
