New Customised Pop Up Backgrounds, Your Choice of BackGround for £85

If you could choose what was on a pop up background, what would you have on it?

After seeing the new lastolite urban range and all the brick / industrial backgrounds which I love,

I wanted to ask, if you could have one of these type of backgrounds made and choose what was on it, what would you have?

I'm considering having some made for myself, and selling the surplus... I would like to hear what people would like on them

They would work out cheaper than the lastolite ones which sell for £150 - £175

EDIT: I've worked it out and these would sell for around £85, not including shipping.

They would be double sided, with a different image on each size and pop up to be 1.5m x 2.0m

more white'ish grey rather than red. Or even rusted corrugated iron with graffiti, as below.

My thought in terms of your research is that if you wanted to make a background that was 'like a lastolite' you may have some issues around copyright and patent... They might be interested in your product if you're not careful...

I'm not selling them on here no, and by "like lastolite" I meant that in a general way that its a patterend background as apposed to a plain one, as I know lastolite aren't the only ones that make patterned backdrops but thats the one most people would recognise I suppose.

And I wanted to gather feedback on what people would be willing to pay for that sort of background, and what they would want on it if they could choose the background, as I need to place the order for mine and don't want to be stuck with the rest.

Also I forgot to mention, this would not be an ongoing thing, it would be a one off.

I have to order a minimum of 10 backgrounds for them to make mine, I only want 2 maybe 3 so there would only be 7 / 8 available if I were to go ahead.

Have you looked at these rather than a custom job?

They appear to have most things covered, rollup rather than popup though.

That is the kind of background I'm after, but I much prefer the ease and portability of a pop up

Also they work out more expensive, when you factor in the need for all the equipment to mount / hang it

As I see it, a popup background requires 1 studio stand, a roll of vinyl requires 2 stands and a crossbar. It's about £20 from ebay with a free useless white backdrop .
