Being new in photography I have very little idea about the good and the bad stores/online websites to shop in. I have seen the sticky thread about the good website, but which ones are bad? This can be from personal experiance/from what you have been told etc.

If you find a shop, just search inside this forum and it will tell you all the threads with people's good and bad experiences.

Its just on places like Amazon market place some seem a bit odd and others seem ok!

No different to any High Street then! You have your good retailers and the ones you want to avoid due to prices, customer service or refund policies.

Exactly what they said - I trust Amazon for their excellent customer service (in that they'll take almost anything back, sometimes out of warranty) but the Marketplace can be a gamble. Thankfully they're keeping people up to a certain standard which is weeding those out that simply don't care for promptness or care of items.
