Hi, I've just bought a sigma 150-500 to join my eos550d and 3 or 4 other lenses.
I'm now looking for a bag to carry it all in. I am thinking of the Lowepro 400aw, but am looking for suggestions.

I seem to recall from an earlier post that the Lowepro Flipside 400 AW Backpack could take this mounted to a body. Can anyone out there can verify that ?

I've had a couple of Tamrac bags, one a shoulder bag and one a rucksack, and they have been able to carry the Sigma 150-500 attached to a gripped body and plenty of other gear as well. They are great bags, very well made and they have a great range of bags too, have a look here http://www.tamrac.com/ at the range. The Lowepro range looks good as well and there are quite a few other makes too. Have a look here for a comparison http://www.cambags.com/news.html

I have a Lowepro 400AW which enabled me to have the Sigma attached to my 7D, I can now just about squeeze the Sigma 120-300 with a 2X and camera attached.

Thanks for that guys, that's helped me make my mind up. I think I'll be ordering up a 400.
