I'm just wondering what it's like compared to Negative Lab Pro.

Not heard of this, at all! It appears theres a version that's a plugin for Photo$hop, and another that works with Bridge. They claim that's fine for people who don't join the Adobe ecosystem, because Bridge is free. Hmmm...
