I was looking for some battery video lights and came across these Neewar CN-126 video lights, they seem to have some good reviews on youtube. I mostly want them for use with the gopro for night or low light exploring (not for pro work) has anybody on here got them or tried them?, I'm interested to know if they are anygood and the battery life on AA's. They seem dirt cheap so it's not too bad if they get broken or whatever.
Any advice welcome. Thanks

I was looking at those myself, for low light video. Not sure what the coverage is, might not be strong enough for outdoor exploring. As you say they are cheap, so just might be worth a punt.

I've got teh CN-160 version and at full power with Sony NP-F550 battery pack in it, its insanely bright. Amazing for video work with me having to turn it to half power for most things. They eat AA's though so I'd recommend investing in the Sony batteries (well cheap versions)

Thanks guys, I've heard they are really bright so it sounds like it's worth a go then for the price. Maybe a Christmas present for myself.... ;)

Sounds good, I might have another nosey at them myself. :)

I can second this... Really bright, and come with various diffusers to soften the light which is awesome! And defo invest in the battery pack... Let us know how you get on with them, used them two days ago did a bit of light painting using them, work a treat...
