Needed- good podcast manager for Windows

I want to subscribe and download podcasts to my PC.

I do not want the evil iTunes that I can't work and makes my PC run like a dog.

There must be good alternatives out there.

Any help appreciated.

It's REALLY not that bad.

Media Monkey is a lot less bloated than iTunes, it handles more media format than iTunes and it is not constantly 'phoning home' like apples product.

Yup iTunes works great...Uses only 93.8MB of my memory (just checked) so I don't get the bloated comment...And naturally in order to get the podcasts it needs to communicate with the iTune store...I wouldn't call that phoning home personally which has a connotation of sharing your personal data which is not the case....
