every friday guaranteed there is always a traffic car and a police lorry race by with its sirens the lorry i think is a 3.5 tonne version with white sides and no windows

what bugs me the most is i want to know what it is and what there doing

now this bugs me more it is heading for the city centre and ie towards the central station or the main prison

but they pick the busyiest road and 10 second drive there is a big dual carriage way through the centre of town

so what are they doing

Sounds like the court run. They come flying past our office in Beverley as well.
 
Thre was a similar thing near us a year or so back. Police lorry, out riders and even a helicopter following sometimes. Turns out it was a high profile drugs case and the passenger was a key witness being transported from jail to the crown court.

I was up and around that area at the time, used to block off the roundabout off Junc 27 m1 and they would all come screaming through:police:

What sort of police lorry was it? Was it in Sheffield?
 
Na, not Sheffield, was Mansfield

Big white lorry with no windows, couple of black plain clothes cars
Loads of stripeys as well
Took up two of the three lanes on the motorways
 
I used to deliver goods in hull to a place near the prison, one morning queing up outside were some women, one was dressed in a long black mac which blew open as I drove past

She had the lot on, mini skirt, stockings high heels

Perhaps it's a van load of prozzies on their way to the prison

now that wouldnt suprise me as where i work is prostitue city now

me and the wife always wind them up when driving by she tells me to slow down and then when they think it is buisness we drive off :lol:
