Hi Guys,

Need your help.

I am after a new bag that I can use for my camera and a lens like 17-50 f2.8 or the 70-300 VR, but that i can also use as a normal bag as well, normally cary my sat nav, wallet, cd's and couple of general bits and pieces.

Obviously want the camera to be protected but accessible so if walking round town or city its easy to get out and shoot without digging through all the other detritus in the bag.

Don't want a backpack, ideally after a messenger type bag and don't have a big budget.

What do you recommend??

Thanks as always.

I don't have one myself but i know crumpler do alot of half packs designed to carry you cameras as well as or instead of other things. The problem is the budget they come at a price as do alot of camera bags these days. You could shop around on ebay of in forums see if anyone is selling one.

Ok, have a look at this, and the other bags on offer by this ebay seller. Now before everyone throws their arms up in horror at buying from fleabay, and worse, from china, I have bought about 10 items from thsi company, and they have been absolutely excellent. Fast delivery, products exactly as described, and good quality - including a camera bag which is stunning, waterproof, etc etc.... Basically, they are unbranded versions of the known makes. They do not claim they are the 'brand' but do offer the make and model of the brand each bag compares to as a comparison.

If you can be around Thurs evening, I can bring mine with me to show you if you like ;)

Thanks guys, like the subscription option, any other suggestions welcome, thanks again

I bought a Crumpler threesevendaily, to use as a camera bag/handbag when on holiday and it worked ok. I had the 17-85mm attached to the camera at one end of the bag, the 70-300mm, 10-20mm and the 50mm in compartments, purse and sunglasses also in main bag, then passport, spare batteries and spare cards in the front pouch. It has an inner protective padded section, which can lift out completely, leaving a large unpadded bag with lots of inner pockets. Fold over flap has also got a big pouch, so all in all quite useful for small to medium sized lenses. I can't get my 70-200 in though........:(

Cool think the one in the subscription offer will be a bit small, will look at the threesevendaily

thanks, does anyone know where sells crumplers so i can go and look in the flesh, I like the look of "The Broom Bride" but can't see it online anywhere?
