need help

I'm sure that you've looked into Edward Steichen's The Family of Man exhibition, so you will know that it documented the wide spectrum of human experience and brought together hundreds of photograhs from hundreds of photographers.

Basically, there is an infinite number of ways to approach a subject like this! My suggestion would be to go and photograph some people and see what develops (no pun intended!).

so you mean random people on the street?

i was thinking of photographying the homeless, people at various london markets(ie fish mungers/butchers/florists,etc), the elderly/people at bingo clubs. you think these are good subjects to photograph? how do i explain the photographs critique the photographs that i took.

thanks Garry79, i like your site by the way.

would like to get some more ideas from other people.

Thanks mate.

I would start at home. Where the majority of human experience takes place. Think outside the box. You don't need a controversial subject matter to take great photos or make a statement (they've usually all been done to death anyway).
