I’m going to buy me a new Canon EOS 5 MK II, and I searching for a good price. Does anybody know the Electronic Union Limited company ? Is it safe to shop from them?

A quick google for the said company puts this thread at the top! Can't find any information. Proceed with caution until proven otherwise.

Have you tried www.camerapricebuster.com ? This link usually has the best price offered by all the reputable online and high streets sellers!

Additionally what price are they asking? If it is too good to be true it probably is too good to be true. We've seen a few people scammed on here by bogus websites offering 'to good to be true' offers on cameras.
 
Thanks for your tips Freester :) and yes the offer is too good! But i have checked the company in ukdata and nothing bad to find there. But I cannot believe the prices.
Price I got from them is: Canon EOS 5D Mark II 21MP DSLR With lens 24-70F2.8L USM £ 1580 ! That’s make me suspect!

Well given that the 24-70 is at least £800 (just a guess), it must be a con, or maybe it is the 5D Mark I being advertised with said lens.
 
Do they have a website?

How did they provide the price (email, phone website etc...)?

What are the payment terms. If it is Bank Transfer only steer well clear.
 
Oh and the 24-70 f2.8L is worth over a grand now!
 
Why don't you PM user 'Kerso' on here for a price? He will be very competitive and 100% reliable (most of the gear in my signature apart from the body I bought from him!).
 
The price was for 5DMK2. I also asked for 5DMK 1 with same lens was set to £ 1209. CamBuster lock up £981.99 for ef 34-70 .. only £227.01 for 5D Mk1

Steer well clear. It may be a registered address but the contact numbers are all mobiles.

It just looks / feels dodgy. Payment terms - no credit cards etc. Almost 100% certain this is a scam.
 
And I just noticed the website tried to push a gambling pop up window on me!

Definitely a scam!
 
And the crappy photo supposedly advertising their showroom, is inside the Apple Store. Oddly, looks like the Manchester Branch to me. Definitely avoid.

I also have some new information regards these "fake" company.
Inn facts at the same address are http://www.ribblevalley.gov.uk/ located! hehe I had to drop them a mail and tell them the truth:-)
 
At least you checked before diving in. So a good escape. There was a similar story on here a few months back where quite a few people lost a lot of money. Funny most people that were affected were from Europe that time also.

I hope you get your camera soon. Stick around for some good advice on here and share some pictures with us!
 
I hope got some quick feedback from Mr K (your tips Feester), but so fare am still using my old 5D1, in facts its not that bad! Yupp, am adding some picture too:)

That definitely looks like a scam!! The first impression given from that website is not good........no shopping cart, not even a proper price list, and the photo of the Canon 5D box has the description Canon EOS-SD.....clearly have no idea what they are trying to sell.

Anyway, I've also been looking at 5dII prices.............cheapest I've found that looks legit is here:
