Need help with creating own version of this

Hi guys,

Any ideas how this image could have possibly been created. Lighting, any effects, possibly photoshop - would like my own version for copyright reasons.

The easy way is PS. The traditional way is to solder wires to the terminals (yes, please remember to do this before you plug it into the mains) and then pass the wire through a hole in the 'floor'.

Then a double exposure, 1 with the lamp on and one with it off.

I gave this a shot tonight, got a bulb, soldered a plug onto it, made a base and put it on a makeshift back drop, pics look good but not as good as the proper one.
