Hi, I have done photography for about 2 years now with my Olympus E-420 with just the standard lenses it came with, I am looking for an upgrade for example the canon 2000D with the 75-300mm lenses, I take photos of aircraft at the airport or 20 to 40,000ft in the air. Is that a good camera to do so with what do you think, need advice before Christmas

If your already used to Olympus menus and terminology then move on to another olympus . For aircraft shots a used omd-1mkii or mkiii would be a mega leap forward in terms of cost ,weight and2x crop factor as they have both been superseded now so sub £500 used . A used 75-300 would be adequate for aircraft and give 600mm of reach ..
The other bonus is that with a four thirds to MFT adaptor you could retain your current lenses. Do have a look in the olympus thread further down in this section of the forum

Hi
it might be helpful if you gave some idea of the price bracket your looking at. Have you looked at bridge cameras, for example the Panasonic Lumix _DCM -FZ2200? bit more expensive but does with a 24X Leica lens maintains F2.8 maximum aperture from 25 - 600 mm. no need to spend money on other lenses. might suit your need better, just a thought

The budget it around £600 to £670 max, and I’ll take a look into them, thanks
