Right guys I have three backs and have managed to lose 2 darkslides :bang:

So I need to acquire some more for my kiev 88 anyone know of a good source?

I have found them on ebay but it looks like a 15 quid stupidity tax :bang: I'd like to cut back on that if pos

any ideas?

Also appreciated are any ideas for not losing them :bang:

Dosn't help if you don't have any but I was told by an old protog to tie a red satin ribbon around the folding bit on Hasselblad slides. Said it stopped him losing them as they could be easily seen. Did try it with some pieces about six inches long and he was right. Show up easily.

or use a pink ribbon - added bonus being people will pick them up and go "Here - you dropped this you big jessie" :lol:
 
Is there nowhere to put a darkslide when its not in use ??
The Bronica has a slot on the back of the back...
I'm not sure if there is some kind of pocket that is a retrofit for most of the 6x6 backs that aren't Bronica.
On one hand, I kinda feel sorry you lost them, but on the other, I personally wouldn't have let them out of my sight, I think you're lucky the tax is only £15, I'd pay it....and feel reeely lucky.....:)
 
Loving the pink ribbon idea, I usually slide them into my back pocket

one of these was left 'safe' with a set of cd decks for me to pick up when I packed up but got forgotten. The other I coulda sworn was in my camera bag but then it wasn't :bang:

I'll go message they guy on ebay and see if he will do a postage deal for the pair :(
