Need advice on equipment for filming.

Hi guys, I am a college student and am soon to film a music video.
My colleges equipment is VERY limited, I really could either do with a shoulder rig and a slider that goes on a tripod for smooth sliding shots.

Now as a student, and without a job at this time, I have no money. So has anyone got any ideas as a substitute to these items?

If you google "DIY SLR rig" and "DIY slider" or similar you will find 1000s of articles about how people have made rigs from anything and everything. Prices vary from £0 as it's stuff you'll have around to £silly

Bare in mind if you want to use standard accessories you'll need 15mm rods which aren't overly cheap and spaced correctly, but if your not using any off the shelf stuff then you can use anything you can find of a similar OD.
