I am just about to set up a kickstarter project & before I put it forward I need to be prepared & know what my realistic goals are.
What I plan on doing is creating a series of Illustrated books for children that are fun, educational & subtly touch on safety such as stranger danger, facebook security & playing with friends unsupervised etc... I want them to have the same layout as the Biff & Chip books (some of you with kids may know of these) The books are Landscape shaped, with one big picture and the text (between 3 to 5 lines) under neigh. What I need to know is where can I get illustrated children books like this printed in bulk Cheap, or alternatively where can I find a reputable childrens book publisher that isn't expensive? If I do get the funding, I don't then need to panic & have to hunt this stuff down at the last minute.
