From Sheffield to the other side of Buxton, so I can collect my car I had to abandon on the way home from work last night!! :(

Its only about 40 miles away.... lol

Got some Cam phone piccies of the driving conditions I may post up later...

Its raining here now so the snow is going... slowly, but I cant help but feel it will be around somewhat longer nr Buxton....

Hey ho.. take the sledge with me I think!! :)

BTW kidding about the lift!

Looks like I was the lucky one.. there were a few cars in ditches at 45degs... and badly damaged, I think i quit at the right time!

:eek: Is that the Sheffield - Manchester cross pennine route? It's bad enough in good weather.
 
Na, worse. That is the A54 Buxton to Congelton road... runs next to cat and fiddle which as you will problably know is I think one of the most dangerous roads in the UK!!!!
Seen a motorcyclist die late last year not far from this spot!!! :(
 
Blergh.. snow and roads.
All ours is gone gone gone.
