I'm thinking about buying the Kase Revolution Magnetic Circular Filters 77mm Pro Kit, and wonder if anybody has any thoughts on them. Are they worth the money? Do they have any drawbacks or problems?

do these come with compatible step up rings , i was thinking of buying a set to save me the hassle of threading on filters, but want to use them mainly with my 24-70 lens (82mm) and my 70-200 lens(77mm), so id get the 82mm set and be able to use them on the 70-200 too

No. You have to buy them separately.

I used Kase Magnetic Circular Step Up Rings. £40 each. I had to superglue two together lol

I bought the 95mm filters.

The kits don't come with step up adapters but you can buy them separately. I found the best price was at Carmarthen Cameras, where you can also buy step up adaptors for £19 each.

While the filters seem to be very good, a disappointment is that the pouch that comes with the kit doesn't close very well or easily - a problem some others have noted. Strangely, if you buy the kit in the US you seem to get a much better pouch that zips up and has a bigger hook. The one you get in the UK does the job but for the price of the kit it's disappointing, and better pouches are readily available elsewhere for under £20.
