Yeah, technically they are very good. Nicely exposed, well composed, interesting subject......But.....

There's just no atmosphere.

Anyone can do that with a tall trpod and a long lens, add a wee bit of cropping, and, bang!! there you have it.
I like the last one, slow shutter speed, water going down the plug hole, very effective.;)
