Yes

I've done a crude translation and I'm still none the wiser. Is it a well-known song?

My Uncle have a place in the country, not know about (is it not on Google maps?)
He says this were a farm before have engines (so it's a bit run-down, yeah?)
on Sunday I elude the eyes (hide n seek?), skip the turbine cargo (you and me both, brother)
has far outside the wire or my white horses expecting uncle (couldn't have put it better myself)

Dunno, but I'm fairly certain you could win Eurovision with it.

Spirit of radio?

Close but no cigar.

My uncle has a country place
That no one knows about
He says it used to be a farm
Before the Motor Law
And now on Sundays I elude the eyes
And hop the turbine freight
To far outside the wire where my
White-haired uncle waits

No, definitely horses :p

Cheveux/chevaux. ;)

For those of you that need educating.

I do hope Rush change their minds and do another tour, seen them 4 times now, twice back in the 80's and twice recently with my sons. Sadly Alex has arthritis and Neil has tendonitis which is hampering their abilities to play guitar and drums respectively.

Wish I'd been on here the other day and seen it. I recognised it in about 3 seconds from the first line "Mon Oncle ont une place du pays, pas une connais about". Then I had to listen to it. Great song.

I've not had any experience of french or franglais in almost 40yrs so I only recognised about 2 words per line.
