So this guy (Eric Bellquist) has been released having proved he was in the USA.

Unbelievable 'own goal' by the police/media for releasing/leaking this info without checking basic facts.

I imagine a lawer or two are 'sniffing blood' ?

Indeed it is utterly ridiculous that he was even arrested as surely about the first question they should have asked would be. "where were you on X date?"

To be honest as some who absolutely despises the whole compensation culture I kind of hope he does sue and wins, it's high time these leaks and even briefing to the press were stopped especially for stuff like this, or does our legal system no longer work on the principle on innocent until proved guilty
